Van Gogh Fire 
         FOR FRACTAL DESIGN PAINTER 3.0

This is a cool technique for making fire in Painter.  I call it Van Gogh Fire because it uses mostly the Van Gogh Brush.

1. Set the foreground color to:
                • H: 40%
                • S: 100%
                • V: 50%
     and the color variability to:
                • H: 10%
                • S: 25%
                • V: 10%
2. With the Artists:Van Gogh brush, paint something.  I'll use an "X".  Use 100% opacity. The grain % doesn't matter.

3. Now, paint over what you just painted with the Artists:Seurat brush.

4. Use the Liquid:Coarse Distorto brush to smear up from portions of the X.

Now you have a cool fiery X!
